Natchez Trace Parkway Bridge over Tennessee Route 96

This was the first segmental arch bridge built in the United States. The monumental bridge is a familiar site to those travelling the historic Natchez Trace Parkway trade route between Nashville, Tennesse and Natchez, Mississippi. The bridge is approximately 1650 feet in length and 160 feet above a highway (Route 96) and a creek on the valley floor. The project won over 15 national and international awards

Alex Fraser Bridge to Annacis Island

This cable-stayed bridge is located over the main arm of the Fraser River connecting New Westminster to Annacis Island. When built, the structure was the world's longest modified fan cable-stayed bridge. The overall length of the bridge is 3052 feet with a center span of 1525 feet rising 185 feet over the water. The bridge is the pride of British Columbia and provides a much-needed additional link to the suburban communities south of greater Vancouver.
