All work is performed within the guidelines of our well documented Quality Control program that establishes the consistent, uniform controls required to achieve compliance with the applicable code requirements of fabrication (e.g., ASME, ANSI, DOT, CSA and National Board Stamps R, S and U). In Canada, PCL Industrial Constructors Inc. owns and operates a 145,000 square-foot pipe spool fabrication facility located on 13.3 acres in Nisku, Alberta. This facility is one of the largest and most modern of its kind in North America. Recent improvements include a new large bore fabrication bay, new pipe handling facilities, new warehousing and tool crib facilities, and automated pipe cutting and computerized welding equipment. With experience in fabrication of all material types and wall thicknesses, the annual production capacity is approximately 1,250,000 diameter inches or 11,000 tons of carbon steel and 1,700 tons of stainless steel pipe. On an adjoining property, Melloy Industrial Services Inc. owns and operates a 21,000-square-foot office and shop to fabricate ASME vessels, to support the field operations for its heavy turnaround and maintenance crews, and to serve as a base for new construction and welder testing.
