Project Description
Minneapolis City Center is a three million square foot mixed use development taking up two complete city blocks between Sixth and Seventh Streets, and Nicollet Mall and Hennepin Avenue. City Center was the catalyst for the revitalization of the downtown Minneapolis business district and is a downtown skyway hub. It features three primary components: office tower, hotel, and two-level retail mall. The 33 South Sixth Street tower is a 50-story, 1.4 million square foot office tower attached to City Center. Next to South Sixth, is the 31-story City Center Marriott Hotel. Originally constructed as the Amfac Hotel at City Center, it contains 584 rooms and suites, multiple conference and banquet facilities and six separate skyway connections linking 64 square blocks. The center includes above and below grade parking for 687 vehicles.
