The Chiefs and Petty Officers' and Officers' Facility is located at the Stadacona Base in Halifax. The $32,000,000 design-build project includes a 12-storey residential/accommodation tower and a lower 3-storey section for the galley, dining halls, ballrooms and lounges. The total floor area is 190,000 square feet.
The project incorporates high-end communication and control systems with "Green" Building Design to produce an environmentally sound building. This project is LEED certified and has received the following awards:
- Canadian Design-Build Award, received from the Canadian Design Build Institute in 2006.
- The Lieutenant Governor's Award for Architecture – Medal of Excellence in 2005.
