Ben Sawyer Swing Bridge Design-Build

The Ben Sawyer Swing Bridge Replacement was a Design/Build project that consisted of demolition and reconstruction of a 1,154' bridge superstructure.  The new approach spans were constructed on temporary bents and moved into position during a 10-day closure period.  The new 245' swing span was floated into position during the same seven day closure.
